Job summary

Boskalis Westminster UK is seeking a Superintendent to lead and supervise dredging projects in the UK and Ireland, onshore and offshore. The role involves implementing safety plans, reviewing work methods, and coordinating Boskalis staff, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure successful project execution.

You will maintain daily site reports, build strong client relationships, and deputise for the Works Manager when required.

Qualifications

• At least a secondary vocational working level.
• Knowledge of Office software and basic quality and safety systems.
• Practical knowledge of dimension technology and equipment operation.
• Experience with dredging projects and related activities.
• Ability to work onshore and offshore and travel within the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety, health and environment plan for the project; contribute to QA plans and risk assessments; conduct toolbox talks and JHA.
• Prepare short-term mobilization planning and demobilization.
• Review and follow work methods; ensure resources are in place and aligned with execution plan.
• Assist in detailed planning derived from project planning; monitor progress for quality, cost and efficiency.
• Lead Boskalis and subcontractor teams onshore and offshore; manage daily site reports and weekly operational reports.
• Maintain good client relationships and communicate with supervisors.
• deputise for the Works Manager in their absence on small projects.
