Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Avonmouth site (BS11 0YD) supporting Greene King.

This full-time, permanent role offers 46 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting around 05:00 with 9.2 hours per day, and includes bank holidays. You will conduct pre- and post-shift checks, deliver keg and small-pack products, unload stock, navigate busy city routes, and complete paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements).
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre and post-shift checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Delivering kegs and small-pack products on the Greene King Drinks side of the business.
• Unload stock from cages during deliveries.
• Navigate busy city routes while handling challenging parking situations.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.

The role is full-time and permanent, working 46 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The start time is approximately 05:00, with contracted hours of 9.2 hours per day.

Please note that the working pattern includes Bank Holidays.
