Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting a Class 2 driver for the Northampton area (NN4 5EL) on a Clicklink contract. This full-time, permanent role offers a 48-hour week with a 4 on/2 off pattern and start times between 04:00 and 06:00. You will perform deliveries, daily safety checks and complete all delivery paperwork to high standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT).
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and collections on customer premises for a variety of clients.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report defects to the transport team.
• Ensure delivery documentation (PODs, manifests) is completed accurately.
• Comply with GXO Health & Safety policies, transport legislation and company procedures.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, including vehicle cleanliness and customer service.

This is a full-time, permanent role. You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week on the shift pattern of 4 on, 2 off shift pattern, with start times between 04:00 and 06:00.

• Annual salary: £40,018.60

What you will do on a typical day:

• Make deliveries and collections on customer premises for a variety of clients

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
• Computer literate, experience of WMS systems and MS Office packages
