Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking a Drama Teacher for flexible short-term and longer-term placements across secondary schools in Ipswich and surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging Drama lessons, following planning, and contribute to performing arts departments in longer assignments.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent and possess strong drama knowledge, with the ability to inspire students and manage diverse groups effectively. A commitment to safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Drama and performing arts.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Confident classroom management skills.
• Adaptable and comfortable working across different school environments.

These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings inIpswich and the surrounding areas. You will be supporting schools by delivering engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages as part of general supply cover.
