Job summary

TeacherActive is currently recruiting Drama Teachers for day-to-day supply and long-term contracts across Bristol, Swindon, Somerset and Wiltshire from September 2026. You will plan and deliver inclusive lessons, assess progress effectively and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Opportunities range from individual bookings to longer contracts. QTS with Drama, KS4 experience, strong classroom management, and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• QTS with Drama specialism (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Experience teaching Drama up to Key Stage 4 / KS4.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong communication, planning and assessment skills.
• The confidence to lead practical, performance or creative learning.

TeacherActive is currently recruiting experienced and qualified Drama Teachers for day-to-day supply teaching and long-term contract opportunities across Bristol, Swindon, Somerset and Wiltshire from September 2026.
