Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Drama Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Ellesmere Port. The role is ASAP Start, long-term supply with daily rates of £168.20–£251.71.

The successful candidate will teach Drama across various year groups, plan engaging lessons, and foster confidence and creativity in students while aligning with the school’s curriculum and expectations. DBS and right-to-work documents are required.

Qualifications

• Proof of Right to Work (Passport or Birth Certificate)
• CV covering 10 years of education or employment
• Fully enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to process one (reimbursement provided)

Responsibilities

• Teach Drama across a range of secondary year groups.
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and challenging Drama lessons.
• Encourage students to develop confidence, creativity and performance skills.
• Help students develop practical and theoretical Drama knowledge.
• Follow the school's curriculum and schemes of work.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement.
• Build positive relationships with students and create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with department and wider school colleagues.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Drama Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Ellesmere Port. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative teacher who is looking to join a supportive school and make a positive impact on students' learning and confidence.

The Role

• Teaching Drama across a range of secondary year groups.
• Planning and delivering engaging, creative and challenging Drama lessons.
• Encouraging students to develop their confidence, creativity and performance skills.
• Supporting students to develop both practical and theoretical knowledge of Drama.
• Following the school's existing curriculum and schemes of work.
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement.
• Building positive relationships with students and creating an inclusive classroom environment.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department and wider school.
