Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified Drama Teachers for long-term, supply, temporary and permanent roles across Liverpool secondary schools. You will deliver engaging Drama lessons to KS3 and KS4 and help students develop confidence and creativity.

Applicants should hold QTS in Performing Arts, have UK classroom experience, and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply). This is part of Tradewind's network of ongoing opportunities across partner schools.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status in Performing Arts (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching Drama in UK secondary schools.
• Be able to deliver engaging drama lessons and manage diverse classes.
• DBS on Update Service preferred or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Drama lessons to KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, assess and report on student progress.
• Create inclusive, practical and theory-based learning.
• Support school-wide drama initiatives.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting Drama Teachers for a range of opportunities across secondary schools in Liverpool.

We are keen to hear from qualified Drama Teachers interested in long-term teaching roles, supply teaching, temporary contracts, and permanent opportunities.

Our partner schools regularly recruit teachers to deliver Drama across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to develop confidence, creativity, communication skills and a strong appreciation of the performing arts.

Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and ECTs.

Successful candidates will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Drama in UK secondary schools
• Be confident delivering engaging practical and theory-based Drama lessons
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management
• Be enthusiastic and passionate about Drama and Performing Arts
• Be able to inspire and engage students across different abilities and age groups
