Job summary

Trinity Claims is seeking a Drainage Technician to conduct drainage and water main investigations, maintenance and repairs at policyholder properties. You will diagnose faults, carry out CCTV surveys, unblock drains and perform minor excavations with safe, professional service.

Requirements include a Full UK Driving Licence (max 3 points), proven drain unblocking and jetting experience, and ability to work to high standards with customers. DOE salary £33k-£40k with leading benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in drain unblocking and jetting operations.
• Full UK driving licence with max 3 points.
• Experience handling insurance claims at policyholder properties.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out drain unblocking using high-pressure water jetting equipment.
• Use drain rods and equipment to remove blockages safely.
• Conduct CCTV surveys of underground drainage systems.
• Operate drainage camera systems and survey equipment.
• Undertake drain track and trace at policyholder properties.
• Open, inspect and assess external manholes and chambers.
• Carry out minor excavation and reinstatement activities.
• Communicate professionally with policyholders and the public.
• Explain findings and recommended actions clearly.
• Minimise disruption to policyholders during works.
