Job summary

Trinity Claims is recruiting a Drainage Technician to carry out investigations, maintenance and repairs at policyholder properties. You will diagnose faults, clear blockages, perform CCTV surveys and trace drainage systems, while maintaining high customer care and Health & Safety standards.

You will work independently, with a Full UK Driving Licence, and be comfortable with overtime and out-of-hours on-call arrangements. Salary £33,000–£40,000 DOE and market-leading benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with minimal points (0-3)
• Experience in drain unblocking and drainage rodding operations
• Experience operating high-pressure water jetting equipment
• Ability to undertake CCTV drainage surveys
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Basic IT skills for reports and mobile apps
• Willingness to work overtime and out-of-hours call-out arrangements
• Experience working with insurance claims and policyholder properties

Responsibilities

• Carry out drain unblocking using high-pressure water jetting equipment.
• Use drain rods and specialist equipment to remove blockages safely and effectively.
• Conduct CCTV surveys of underground drainage systems.
• Operate drainage camera systems and survey equipment.
• Undertake drain track and trace activities at policyholder properties.
• Open, inspect and assess external manholes and chambers.
• Carry out minor excavation and reinstatement activities as required.
• Communicate professionally with policyholders and the public.
• Explain findings and recommended actions clearly.
