Job summary

Auger is looking for a Drainage & Subsidence Assistant to join the team in Bradford and the surrounding areas. The role offers a starting salary of £28,089.10 with a total package around £31,884 and optional overtime that can raise the package to about £33,504.53.

Benefits include health plan, pension contributions, generous leave, and training for progression. You'll work 42.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, no on-call), with a focus on developing skills in drainage, subsidence and engineering tasks.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is essential – we will provide you with all the training you need.
• Some experience of groundworks is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Assist our experienced Engineers to complete a variety of jobs including repairs, investigations, excavations and reinstatement works.
• Work effectively with other engineers in our team as required.
• Learn all aspects of every engineering role at Auger, including how to carry out subsidence investigations.
• Specialise in one area after a year, with the opportunity to progress to Junior Engineer and, with the right development and commitment, a fully qualified Engineer.
• Communicate proactively with our Field Operations Team at HQ

We'are looking for a Drainage & Subsidence Assistant to join the Auger Team, covering Bradford and the surrounding areas. Our total package is worth £31,884.00 without overtime.

Financials

• Starting Salary - £28,089.10

• Annual Bonus - approx £2000 - £2500

• 5.5% Pension Contribution - approx £1484

Overtime

• Optional weekend OT at 1.5x rate eg. 10 days would top up the package to £33,504.53

Working Hours

• 42.5hrs per week, Mon-Fri only &NOon-call work
