Job summary

Ipsum Utilities Limited is seeking an HGV Driver & Operator to operate jetting units for drainage maintenance, respond to emergency callouts and conduct CCTV surveys. You will work closely with customers and colleagues to report findings and recommend solutions while ensuring all work complies with safety standards.

The role requires relevant licences and certifications, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team across varied shifts, including

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence required.
• High Pressure Water Jetting certification.
• Confined Space Entry certification.
• Experience in drainage maintenance and jetting operations.
• Familiarity with CCTV survey equipment & software.
• Strong understanding of H&S practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV jetting units for drainage cleaning and maintenance.
• Respond to emergency callouts and support planned maintenance.
• Conduct CCTV drainage surveys to identify defects.
• Report findings and recommend solutions to customers/clients.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
• Carry out routine vehicle and equipment checks.
