Job summary

Ipsum is seeking a dedicated HGV Driver & Operator to maintain and improve drainage systems from the Atherstone office. You will operate jetting units, respond to emergencies, and carry out CCTV surveys to assess conditions, reporting findings and recommendations to clients and teams.

The role offers a full-time permanent position with opportunities for career development and a bonus scheme. Candidates should be flexible for varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
• High-pressure water jetting certification
• Confined space entry certification
• Experience in drainage maintenance and jetting operations
• Familiarity with CCTV drainage survey equipment and software
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in utility operations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV jetting units to perform drainage cleaning and maintenance.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and planned maintenance schedules.
• Conduct CCTV surveys to assess drainage conditions.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to report findings and options.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
