Job summary

Apex Resources Limited is recruiting 4 Drainage Groundwork Foremen to lead and supervise drainage installation projects on-site in Coventry, CV7. You will oversee pipe laying, trenching, backfilling, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

Start date is end of October for a 6 month to 1 year contract. A negotiable day rate depending on tickets and experience, with HS2 induction preferred but training can be arranged. Strong supervisory experience and SSSTS qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• SSSTS qualification required and valid.
• Strong drainage and groundworks experience.
• Experience supervising drainage works and leading teams with health and safety focus.

Job description

Apex Resources Limited are currently on the lookout for 4 Drainage Groundwork Foremen to lead and oversee drainage installation projects on-site in Coventry, CV7.

Duties: Supervise drainage groundworks, including pipe laying, trenching and backfilling, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Plan daily workloads, coordinate teams and trades, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records to meet project deadlines and safety requirements.

Start Date: End of October

Contract Rate: Negotiable day rate dependant on tickets and experience

Duration: 6 months - 1 year

Requirements: Strong all-round drainage and groundworks experience and a valid SSSTS qualification. An in-date medical and HS2 induction are preferred, but training and medicals can be arranged and funded for the right candidates. Candidates must have proven experience supervising drainage works, leading groundworks teams, and maintaining high standards of health, safety and workmanship on site.
