Job Description:

The Role: As a Drainage / Flood Risk Engineer, you will contribute to diverse projects, focusing on residential and non-residential developments, enhancing drainage and flood risk strategies. Senior candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Surface Water Drainage Strategies.
• Develop strategies for foul water drainage to support Planning Applications.
• Utilise Micro Drainage / Flow software to model drainage networks.
• Input into site masterplans for optimal drainage integration.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed efficiently, meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
• Review company practices and policies for continuous improvement.
• Assist in team management and development.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Drainage Engineer, Flood Risk Engineer, or similar role.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Background in managing drainage and flood risk elements of projects.
• Understanding of UK Drainage / Flood Risk Regulations and Best Practices.
• Proficiency in Micro Drainage / Flow, MicroStation / AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
• Experience in preparing Transport Statements/Assessments, Travel Plans, and Utility Assessments (beneficial).
• Degree-level education preferred.
