Job summary

HomeServe Membership Ltd. is seeking a Drainage Engineer to diagnose and repair drainage issues in customers' homes. You'll clear blockages with HPWJ, investigate problems, and carry out domestic drainage repairs while managing each job on-site and delivering excellent service.

This field-based role offers autonomy, with a typical 40-hour week and a salary range of £33,220–£37,810 plus a £1,500 guaranteed first-year bonus. A company van, tools, PPE and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• HPWJ ticket is required and beneficial.
• Experience working in drainage and plumbing environments.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) is essential.
• Strong customer service skills and professional conduct.
• Ability to work independently and on-site solving problems.
• A positive, proactive approach to field work.

Join HomeServe as a Drainage Engineer and play a vital role in keeping our customers' homes running smoothly., As a Drainage Engineer, you'll be working in customer's homes diagnosing and resolving drainage issues. Your day-to-day will include:

• Clearing blockages using high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) equipment
• Investigating drainage problems and identifying root causes
• Carrying out repairs to domestic drainage systems
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers' homes with professionalism and care

This is a field-based role where no two days are the same, giving you variety and autonomy in your work.

• HPWJ (High Pressure Water Jetting) ticket
• Experience working in drainage
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)

• Salary: £33,220 - £37,810 (depending on experience) + £1,500 guaranteed bonus in your first year
