Job summary

HomeServe UK is seeking a Drainage Engineer to diagnose and resolve drainage issues in customers’ homes. You’ll clear blockages with HPWJ, investigate root causes, and carry out domestic drainage repairs while working independently and delivering excellent customer service.

This field-based role offers variety and autonomy, with a 40-hour week including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Benefit from paid overtime, progression opportunities, and a comprehensive training program.

Qualifications

• HPWJ (High Pressure Water Jetting) ticket.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
• A positive, proactive approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Clearing blockages using high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) equipment.
• Investigating drainage problems and identifying root causes.
• Carrying out repairs to domestic drainage systems.
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care.
