Job summary

Metro Rod Dorset & Portsmouth are seeking dedicated drainage technicians to join our fast-growing team. You will carry out a range of drainage services including tankers, cleaning, clearance, and maintenance for commercial and domestic customers, with a focus on high standards of safety and customer service.

The role requires at least 2 years in drainage, high pressure water jetting experience, CSCS, and a full UK driving licence; CCTV surveys are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage essential with minimum of 2 years.
• High pressure water jetting experience.
• CSCS certification.
• CCTV surveys experience is an advantage.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Must live in the Dorset area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of drainage services including tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customers' drains.
• Deliver excellent customer service and technical expertise.
• Ensure work complies with H&S and Quality Assurance procedures.
• Maintain branded service vehicle and equipment to high standards.
• Accurately record work details via bespoke internal/client systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent service.
• Be committed to working for a 24/7 and 365 service provider; may involve on-call or unsociable hours.

Metro Rod Bournemouth are now looking for dedicated and technically skilled individual who wants to develop their engineering careers within this sector and who are committed to providing the most exceptional levels of service to our valued and high-profile customers.

We will work with you from the outset to establish the optimum working pattern that suits your needs as well as those of our business.

The roles themselves will provide a wide range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers.

• Accurately record work / job details via a range of bespoke internal / client systems and applications
• Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
• Commitment to working for a 24/7 and 365 service provider - this may involve participation in on call rotas or occasional unsociable hours

What do we look for?

• Experience in Drainage essential - minimum of 2 years
• High pressure water jetting experience
• CSCS
• Have experience with CCTV Surveys and Lining an advantage
• Will have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude
