Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Drainage Engineer to join its civil engineering team in Hull. You will design foul and surface water drainage for a variety of developments across the UK, delivering drainage design from concept through to construction.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, UK drainage design experience, and proficiency with MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage and AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Hybrid working, ongoing professional development, and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in drainage design within a UK consultancy environment.
• Knowledge of MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Understanding of UK drainage standards, SuDS guidance and current design legislation.
• Experience producing Flood Risk Assessments would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

• Attend project meetings and occasional site visits.

A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a Drainage Engineer to join its growing civil engineering team in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments across the UK, delivering drainage design from concept through to construction.
