TDA Group in South London is seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on internal and external blockages, descaling work, and basic plumbing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate with a two-person crew, participate in a 24/7 on-call rota, and handle both planned and reactive maintenance. A full UK driving license and DBS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of drainage experience.
• Basic plumbing knowledge, including ability to remove toilets and urinals.
• Experience using descaling machinery.
• Full UK driving license.
• Must pass DBS check.
• Familiarity with WinCan 10 Reporting.
• Ability to follow Health & Safety regulations and QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Blockage clearance, internally and externally, using various machinery.
• PPM de-scaling tasks as part of planned maintenance.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks such as toilet repairs and urinal work.
• Respond to emergency blockages through 24/7 on-call rota.
• Work effectively as part of a two-person team.
• Adhere to H&S and QA procedures at all times.

Job description

Location: South London, M25 Area

Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per year (depending on experience) + Overtime at time and a half

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 + On-Call Rota

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drainage Engineer to join our client in South London. The role involves both planned and reactive blockage clearance, with a focus on internal and external blockages. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various descaling machinery and basic plumbing skills, including the ability to remove and refit toilets and urinals. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility, including participation in an on-call rota, working overtime, and being available 24/7 for emergency call-outs within the M25 area.

Responsibilities:

• Blockage Clearance: Perform internal and external blockage clearance using various machinery.
• PPM De-scales: Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) de-scaling.
• Plumbing Knowledge: Work on basic plumbing tasks such as toilet repairs, removing wall-hung urinals, and cutting/removing plastic pipework from 32mm to 52mm, and ideally from 100mm to 150mm.
• Emergency Response: Participate in the on-call rota to respond to emergency blockages 24/7.
• Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a two-man team.
• Health & Safety: Adhere to H&S and Quality Assurance procedures at all times.

Requirements:
