Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our team. You will drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps, ensuring on-time deliveries and high-quality service. You will assist customers, learn product details, and support store operations as needed.

This role requires a valid UK/EU driving licence, a commitment to safety, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided to ensure excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• You must be over 18.
• Possess Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps, on time and in good condition.
• Complete checks to ensure the van is clean, roadworthy and secure before driving.
• Serve customers brilliantly, assist with questions and substitutions, and inform them of delays.
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to offer recommendations.
• Assist across the store when not out delivering.
• Maintain a friendly, welcoming attitude and provide the best doorstep experience.
