Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking Home Delivery Drivers for our stores. You will drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps, ensuring on-time arrivals and careful handling. You’ll perform van checks, maintain cleanliness, and support in-store tasks when not out on deliveries.

A safety-focused role in a fast-paced, value-driven environment. Applicants must be over 18, hold a UK/EU licence with up to 6 points, complete online risk assessment, and have UK Right to Work.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 with a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months and no more than 6 points.
• Must complete an online driving risk assessment during interview and a driving assessment if successful.
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers on time and in good condition.
• Perform vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and secure delivery cases.
• Assist customers with questions and substitutions and communicate delays as needed.
• Build knowledge of products and promotions to provide recommendations.
• When not delivering, assist across the store as needed.
