Job summary

Cambridge House, part of Auberge Collection, is seeking a courteous Doorman in Mayfair to warmly welcome guests, manage entrance, assist with doors and luggage, and ensure a smooth arrival experience.

You will maintain a professional presence, anticipate guest needs, share local recommendations, coordinate with the House team, and uphold the property’s high standards of privacy, safety and exceptional service.

Right to work in the United Kingdom is required.

• Maintain a confident, attentive presence at the entrance, anticipating guest needs and responding with discretion and care.

• Share helpful recommendations and local knowledge, offering guests a thoughtful introduction to Mayfair and its surroundings.

• Work closely with the wider House team to ensure arrivals, departures and special requests are handled seamlessly.

• Maintain the presentation of the entrance and surrounding areas to the highest standards, ensuring the House always feels inviting.

• Support the safety, privacy and comfort of guests through sound judgement, vigilance and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a luxury hospitality, doorman or guest-facing role is desirable.

• A natural passion for hospitality and a genuine enjoyment of welcoming and engaging with guests.

• Excellent communication skills, a welcoming manner and a polished, professional presence.

• An attentive eye for detail, with the ability to anticipate needs and remain composed during busy periods.

• A collaborative approach, taking pride in supporting fellow team members and delivering exceptional service together.
