Job summary

GuardPass Limited is seeking a vigilant Security Guard to ensure safety and security for customers, staff, and property within a fast food venue. You will be the first point of contact, maintaining a visible security presence and providing excellent service while handling incidents professionally.

The role requires staying calm under pressure, monitoring activity, preventing theft, and supporting a safe working environment. An SIA licence and good communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence is essential.
• First Aid at Work certificate preferred.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Strong observation and conflict-management skills.
• Professional, courteous and confident approach.
• Good physical fitness and ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control customer access to the venue when required.
• Welcome customers and provide a visible security presence.
• Conduct bag checks where authorized and in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor customer behavior and identify any suspicious activity.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, disorderly conduct, and violence within the venue.
• Manage customer queues and assist with crowd control during busy periods.
• Support employees in maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
• De-escalate conflicts and resolve disputes in a calm and appropriate manner.
• Liaise with management, emergency services, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including customer and staff areas.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related events.
• Assist in emergency evacuations and ensure customers and staff are guided safely.
