Job Description:

Donor Knowledge Base and Quality Supervisor

Job Summary

This role involves managing the Donor Knowledge Base to ensure it provides accurate, up-to-date guidance for the National Call Centre. You will support the department by exercising your initiative and discretion, working independently, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across NHS.

You will support a diverse team, develop your skills, and promote an inclusive work environment.

Main duties of the job

  • Manage and update the Donor Knowledge Base (DKB) to ensure its effectiveness.
  • Coordinate DKB updates with stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistency across different versions of the DKB tailored for various audiences.
  • Communicate upcoming changes to the DKB to the Contact Centre provider and organize staff training.
  • Support the Donor Services Support and Resolutions Team Managers with daily operations, eligibility queries, staff rotas, quality checks, and training.

Travel to NHSBT sites may be required with prior notice.

About You

Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience in a busy administrative environment.
  • Effective team player.
  • Proficient with web-based applications and IT systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).

Qualifications and Training

  • Education to A Level or equivalent.
  • Formal IT training evidence.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
