Meridian Business Support is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) to join their Doncaster site. You will be responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently, supporting both planned preventative maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns in a highly

Qualifications

• A recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or engineering qualification such as BTEC, ONC or equivalent.
• Experience as Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar.
• Fault-finding, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain conveyors, elevators and automated packaging equipment.
• Install, service and modify pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Support continuous improvement to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Work with operations teams to maximise production efficiency.
• Complete maintenance documentation and ensure HSE/quality standards.
