Job summary

Domino’s Pizza Group plc in Reading is seeking a Shift Manager to lead busy shifts, motivate your team and keep service, quality and smiles on top. You’ll manage shifts, oversee operations, and ensure brand standards.

The role offers full-time or part-time hours with weekend availability. Competitive hourly rate up to £13.50 plus a 50p/hour bonus after training, plus ongoing training and progression.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in hospitality, retail or food service is preferred.
• Strong customer service focus and leadership skills are essential.
• Excellent organisational abilities and clear communication are required.
• Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team during shifts to deliver high-quality service.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth running.
• Monitor food quality, speed of service and order accuracy.
• Prepare and manage rotas to ensure adequate staffing.
• Coach team members to develop skills and confidence.
• Maintain store hygiene, safety standards and brand compliance.
• Address customer concerns professionally and resolve in-store issues.

We’re looking for energetic, organised leaders to manage shifts in our fast-paced Domino’s store — ensuring service, quality, and teamwork are always on top.

Your responsibilities

• Availability for evenings and every weekend (required)
• Lead and motivate your team during shifts to deliver excellent service and quality
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently
• Monitor product quality, speed of service, and order accuracy
• Manage rotas and shift planning to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time
• Support and coach team members to develop their skills and confidence
• Maintain store standards, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times
• Ensure all deliveries and food storage meet brand and food safety standards
• Manage customer satisfaction and resolve any in-store issues professionally
• Work with your Store Manager to drive sales and meet performance targets
• Ensure compliance with Domino’s brand standards, health & safety, and security policies
• Support local marketing initiatives and store promotions

What you’ll need

• Previous supervisory or management experience (hospitality, retail, or food service ideal)
• A genuine passion for customer service and leading a team
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Availability for evenings and every weekend (required)
