Job summary

Elite Care & Comfort Ltd is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support clients in their own homes in Cumberland. Roles include personal care, medication support and meal preparation, with an emphasis on person-centred care and daily routines.

Flexible part-time and full-time options are available. Applicants should hold a Care Certificate (or be working toward it), a driving licence and access to a car. Visa sponsorship may be available for eligible UK candidates.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate (all 15 standards) completed or in progress.
• Level 2 Safeguarding and First Aid knowledge required.
• Oliver McGowan training completed or in process.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own car.
• Experience in domiciliary care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with washing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication support as per care plans.
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs and assist feeding.
• Offer companionship and social engagement to reduce loneliness.
• Monitor client welfare and document in digital care notes.
• Perform light domestic duties and maintain a safe home environment.
