Job summary

Novus Care Limited is seeking a Domiciliary Field Care Supervisor to join our caring team in Wickford and surrounding areas. You’ll support care staff, ensure service excellence, and work with the Registered Manager to maintain compliance, drive quality, and deliver person-centred care in clients' homes.

Responsibilities include supervising care delivery, conducting risk assessments, creating care plans, coordinating with families and GPs, monitoring medications, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in domiciliary/home care.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working toward it).
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising care delivery to maintain high standards.
• Conducting care and risk assessments with clients.
• Creating and updating person-centred care plans.
• Liaising with families, GPs, and external professionals.
• Monitoring medication administration and quality standards.
• Assisting with audits and supporting service improvements.
• Participating in the on-call rota (paid).
• Covering shifts if necessary to avoid service disruption.
