Job summary

Willing care is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to deliver person-centred domiciliary care in clients’ homes. You will work with a supportive team to help residents maintain independence and quality of life.

You will provide personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and companionship, while traveling between clients. A driving licence and empathetic approach are essential, with comprehensive training and career support offered.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desired but not essential (training provided)
• Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
• Previous experience in a care role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
• Experience in domiciliary or community-based care
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring comfort and dignity
• Meal preparation: support with preparing meals, considering dietary preferences
• Medication administration: assist with administering and recording medications according to care plans
• Companionship: offer emotional support and build meaningful relationships with clients
• Travel between clients: drive to various locations to deliver care
• Documentation: maintain accurate records of care provided and ensure regulatory compliance
