Job summary

Uniquecare is seeking a Care Assistant - Domiciliary to provide personal care and companionship in clients' homes. The role covers evenings, weekends, and holidays with flexible hours and mileage paid for travel between visits.

You will assess needs, support daily activities, and document care observations. Full UK driving licence and access to a car are required, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence, car access and business insurance.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends and holidays).

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Administer medications safely as per guidance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to maintain wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding and dietary needs.
• Support mobility (transfers to chairs/wheelchairs).
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment.
• Keep accurate care records and daily observations.
