Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting a permanent Domestic Solar PV Electrician to join a fast-growing renewable energy team across Kent, undertaking domestic solar PV, battery storage and general electrical installations.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a company van, fuel card, tools and PPE provided, plus extensive training, a generous holiday entitlement and a market salary around £46,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing preferred, training can be provided.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass Enhanced DBS check.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
• Experience within Solar PV desirable.
• Solar, battery storage, EV or renewable energy qualifications advantageous.
• City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 candidates considered if willing to complete Lifelong Learning route.

Responsibilities

• Completing Solar PV installations within residential properties.
• Installing battery storage systems and EV charging points.
• Carrying out general electrical installation work where required.
• Ensuring installations meet quality and health and safety standards.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues before project handover.
• Communicating with customers throughout installations.
• Working closely with the office regarding materials and site requirements.
• Completing relevant paperwork and installation documentation.
