Job summary
Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting a Domestic Solar PV Electrician for a permanent role in Kent. The position involves installing solar PV systems, battery storage, and EV charging across residential properties, with a company van, fuel card, and tools provided.
Training is available from day one, and there is room to grow within renewable technologies. Ideal candidates have solar experience or are ready to train, with full UK driving licence and the ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- City & Guilds Level 2/3 candidates may be considered if willing to complete Lifelong Learning route.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations are required/advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Complete Solar PV installations in residential properties.
- Install battery storage systems and EV charging points.
- Carry out general electrical installation work as required.
- Ensure installations meet quality and health & safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues before handover.
- Communicate with customers during installations.
- Coordinate with the office on materials and site requirements.
- Complete installation documentation.
