Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Domestic Supervisor to lead the Domestic team within the Facilities service, ensuring high cleaning standards and staff support. You will act as a first-line manager, training staff and maintaining patient-focused service delivery.

The role is permanent, 37.5 hours over 5 days with shifts 11am-7pm and 7am-3pm, with a pro rata salary of £25,760 to £27,476. Applications from those who can work in the UK are welcome.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience.
• Experience in day-to-day supervision.
• Experience working in a cleaning environment.
• Good IT skills and ability to use IT systems.
• Knowledge of COSH regulations and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Domestic staff and oversee daily operations.
• Ensure high standards of cleaning and hygiene.
• Train and equip staff to complete tasks.
• Provide hands-on support and cover shifts as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, respectful approach with patients and families.
