Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Domestic Loss Adjuster to cover Redhill, Reigate, Tunbridge Wells, Kingston upon Thames and surrounding areas. You will visit claimants, coordinate contractor visits and settle domestic property damage claims with care and fairness.

You’ll work in a supportive team, using training and Sedgwick University resources to develop your expertise, while balancing office and home-based work in a dynamic insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Knowledge of how a home insurance policy operates and the basic makeup of a domestic property.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with policyholders, insurers, contractors and others.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims.
• Visit claimants at their homes and assess damage.
• Coordinate visits from contractors and settle each claim.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and keep claimants informed.
