Job summary

PerfectTed is seeking a Domestic Logistics Coordinator/Manager to keep stock moving smoothly from manufacturing sites through 3PLs to UK retailers and partners.

You will own inbound stock movement, plan efficient domestic routes, and manage outbound orders for major accounts, ensuring accuracy and on-time dispatch while collaborating with the wider Operations team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in logistics, supply chain or order processing (ideally FMCG / Food & Beverage)
• Comfortable managing multiple orders and shipments at once
• Basic understanding of domestic transport, trucking and pallet networks
• Proficient in Microsoft Apps
• Experience with Unleashed and/or Mintsoft
• Exposure to Amazon Seller Central or Shopify (D2C)
• Experience working in a high-growth, fast-moving startup environment

ROLE OVERVIEW

PerfectTed is looking for a Domestic Logistics Coordinator OR Manager to keep stock moving smoothly across the UK — from our manufacturing sites through to our 3PLs, and out to our biggest retail, grocery and wholesale partners.

You’ll own inbound stock movement based on forecast and pallet network capacity, and manage outbound order processing for our major accounts, ensuring every order and every pallet moves in the right direction, on time.

This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on domestic logistics or order processing experience who’s calm under pressure and obsessed with getting the details right.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inbound: Manufacturing to 3PL

• Move stock from manufacturing sites to 3PLs based on demand forecasts
• Plan the most efficient A-to-B domestic routes, factoring in pallet network capacity and general road transport
• Build a working understanding of our transport network and trucking options to keep costs and lead times tight
• Flag forecast vs. capacity issues early to avoid stockouts or bottleneck.

Outbound: Order Processing

• Process outbound orders for major retailers, grocery accounts and wholesale customers
• Manage order flow through Unleashed and Mintsoft, keeping records accurate and up to date
• Track orders from confirmation through to delivery, chasing down delays or discrepancies
• Liaise with 3PLs to ensure accurate, on‑time dispatch

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the wider Operations team to keep stock levels aligned with sales activity
• Communicate proactively with internal teams on ETAs, delays or stock issues
• Support ad hoc logistics projects as PerfectTed scales domestically
