Westgate Healthcare Ltd in Hertford Heath is seeking a proactive Domestic/Laundry Assistant to join our family. You will clean and maintain rooms, manage supplies, and support our elderly residents with care, compassion and respect.

The role covers 37.5 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:00pm, over 5 shifts with some weekend work. We offer competitive pay at £12.71 per hour with a 50p weekend enhancement, an induction programme, training toward nationally recognised qualifications, and a supportive,

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Understanding of Health and Safety, Infection Control and COSHH.

Responsabilités

• To clean all assigned rooms, paying close attention to surfaces, floors and en‑suite bathrooms.
• Maintain and replenish cleaning products.
• Ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and stored properly.
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and company standards.
• Ensure public areas and staff facilities meet company standards.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up.
• Participate in comprehensive induction with training.

About The Role

37.5 hours per week

8:00am to 4:00pm, covering 5 shifts over 7, must be flexible to cover alternate weekends

About the role:

• Ensure that all maintenance issues are reported immediately and followed up as required
