Job summary

Westgate Healthcare Ltd in Greater London is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support elderly residents and contribute to their daily wellbeing. You will assist with personal care, meals, and activities, while helping residents to maintain dignity and independence within a caring team.

Shifts run 8am–8pm, with nights and weekends available and enhancements paid. A supportive induction, training, and opportunities for qualifications are provided to help you grow within the role.

We are looking for a compassionate and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our family. • Healthcare Assistant

• £12.71 to £12.81 per hour, plus night and weekend enhancements

• Hours:44 hours per week

• Shifts: 8am - 8pm - Days and NightShifts available across Monday to Sunday - 8am - 8pm

• Support our residents with their daily activities, whether this be assisting a resident to wash and dress in the morning, developing their individual care plan or helping them choose and eat their favourite meal

• Be a friend who our residents can rely on to champion their dignity and independence

• Support them to live happy and healthy lives

• Communicate effectively, take on responsibility, prioritise your workload and keep accurate records

• Help with other activities such as serving food and helping residents to eat and drink

• Work in a team, be kind and build strong relationships with our residents, their relatives and team members
