Blade Recruitment is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Service Engineer to join its team and support demand across London and the M25. This mobile role visits customer properties and managed buildings to service and inspect domestic gas appliances.

You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with optional paid overtime. A valid Gas Safe registration (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1) and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Formación

• Gas Safe registration with in-date CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1.
• At least 3 years of experience as a gas engineer.
• Full UK driving licence and good spoken/written English.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out gas safety inspections and landlord CP12s.
• Service boilers and domestic heating systems.
• Diagnose and carry out minor breakdown repairs.
• Replace common components such as fans, valves, pumps and controls.
• Attend reactive plumbing and heating jobs as required.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, landlords, letting agents and the office team.
• Explain faults clearly and complete accurate job reports.

Job Description

Domestic Gas Service Engineer

An established plumbing, heating and maintenance company is looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join its team and support growing demand across London and the M25.

This is a mobile, reactive maintenance role, travelling between customer properties and managed buildings. Some jobs may be in offices, shops or schools, but all gas work is on domestic appliances. Commercial gas qualifications are not required

Job Duties

• Carry out gas safety inspections and complete landlord gas safety records (CP12s)
• Service boilers and domestic heating systems
• Diagnose and carry out minor breakdown repairs
• Replace common components, such as fans, valves, pumps and controls
• Attend reactive plumbing and heating jobs as required
• Communicate professionally with tenants, landlords, letting agents and the office team
• Explain faults clearly and complete accurate job reports

Job Location

The domestic Gas Service Engineer will be working mobile around London and M25.

• Salary - £50,000–£60,000
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break. Optional paid overtime is available.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a gas engineer
• Gas Safe registered, with in-date CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1
• A full UK driving licence
• Good spoken and written English, with the ability to explain faults and complete clear job reports
• Eligibility: You must be fully eligible to work in the UK.
