Upfront Recruitment is recruiting for a London-based heating and property services company to hire a Domestic Gas Engineer for private rented homes.
The role is Monday–Friday, permanent, with a company van and a clear diary managed by office staff. Overtime pays at time and a half when available. Most work is in central London and travel is required.
£35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience + company van + bonus scheme
London, mainly central London
Full-time, permanent | Monday to Friday
Your diary is ready for the day. You can see where you're going, the office has arranged your appointments, and there's a technical manager to call when a job needs a second opinion.
And when Friday comes, there's no on-call phone to take home.
We're looking for a Domestic Gas Engineer to join an expanding heating and property services company working mainly in private rented homes. It's a permanent position with a regular monthly salary, a company van and a team that takes care of the scheduling.
As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you'll know how much the organisation behind a job matters. Here, dedicated office staff manage your diary and help resolve problems, leaving you to concentrate on the work in front of you. You'll have full visibility of your appointments and the independence to manage your work, with field and technical support when you need it.
This Domestic Gas Engineer role offers a Monday-to-Friday routine with no on-call commitments. If you want to earn more, overtime is paid at time and a half when work is available. It isn't guaranteed or included in the advertised basic salary.
Most appointments are in central London. You don't need to live near the office, but you must be comfortable travelling into London for work.
You’ll be an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer with at least two years' domestic gas experience, a full driving licence and current CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1 qualifications. A relevant City & Guilds qualification is preferred.
You’ll also need to work confidently in occupied homes, communicate clearly with private tenants and leave your work safe and tidy.
