Job summary

Sodexo Ltd. is seeking a Domestic Cleaner at Royal Stoke Hospital to help provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

You will perform daily cleaning of patient areas, wards, and general spaces, ensuring high hygiene standards and attention to detail. The role promotes wellbeing and supports a compassionate hospital experience for all.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces, restrooms, and other hospital areas
• Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing
• Clean surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, blinds, and walls, to maintain a hygienic environment
• Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing, and replenishing supplies
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff, and visitors
