Sodexo is hiring a Domestic Laundry Assistant for Royal Stoke Hospital. You will support patient care and hospital operations by maintaining clean, safe environments and handling laundry tasks with attention to detail.

The role requires physical work and a focus on safety, with working hours 08:00-18:00 on a 4-on/4-off pattern. The team offers a supportive environment and opportunities to grow within Sodexo’s nationwide services.

Responsabilidades

• Launder dirty mops.
• Lift cages of wet mops when laundered.
• Collect dirty mops and distribute clean mops to zones.
• Maintain mop counts using an Excel spreadsheet.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks: dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, polish, restock supplies.
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse per hospital protocols.
• Promote a safe, healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors.

• £10.90 - £13.14 per hour
• Uniform Provided / Access to Blue Light Card / Sodexo Benefits

Job Introduction

We're looking for aDomestic Laundry Assistantto join ourSodexoteam atRoyal Stoke Hospital. In this vital role, you'll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What you'll do:

• Launder Dirty Mops
• Lift Cages of wet mops once laundered
• Collect dirty mops and distribute clean mops back out to zones using cages to transport mops
• Keep mop counts via excel spreadsheet
• Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing and replenishing supplies within your work area
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols within your work area
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff and visitors
