Job summary

Agincare is looking for caring individuals to join Norton Lees care home in Sheffield. You will help keep communal areas safe and welcoming, and you will assist with cleaning and hygiene to a high standard while engaging with residents warmly.

Hours span 08:00–20:00, 7 days a week, with potential for weekend shifts. A right to work in the UK is required, and the role supports career development through funded qualifications up to QCF Level 5.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Flexible to cover shifts between 08:00 and 20:00, 7 days a week.
• Positive attitude with pride in your work.
• Willingness to work alternative weekends/hours.

Responsibilities

• Keep communal areas safe, clean, and welcoming.
• Dust, polish, and vacuum residents’ rooms to a high standard.
• Work with the management team to maintain hygiene standards.
• Bring warmth and kindness to residents through small acts—smiles, chats, and friendly presence.
