Domestic Assistant - Band 2
Permanent - Various hours
Various positions to cover a 7 day service. Flexibility will be required, and it is essential you can cover Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays. Part-time and Full-Time Available.
An opportunity has arisen to join the Trust in this varied and interesting role within the Domestic Department, offering a high quality, flexible, and patient-focused service.
Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a team providing high standards of cleanliness in all areas throughout the hospital, following appropriate cleaning procedures.
• Use chemicals and handle cleaning equipment responsibly, within health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain patient, staff, and public safety through appropriate use of warning signage whilst cleaning.
• Work independently or as part of a team to deliver services as directed by policies, procedures, and national standards monitored by supervisory staff.
• Demonstrate a friendly and helpful manner with a sensitive approach when dealing with patients and their families.
