Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking an outstanding Domestic Assistant for a part-time role (16 hours per week, Tue–Fri, 9am–1pm) at Cygnet Fountains. This fixed-term contract covers maternity leave for up to 12 months. You’ll help maintain a safe, clean environment for people in our care.

Role includes cleaning, housekeeping duties, and adherence to COSHH and safety procedures; DBS will be enhanced for successful candidates. Competitive local benefits apply.

Qualifications

Experience in housekeeping or domestic work is desirable.
Knowledge of COSHH is desirable.
Friendly, conscientious with a positive attitude.
Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service.
Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness.
Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes.
Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained.
Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures.
Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.

We are looking for an outstanding Domestic Assistant with a passion for making a difference to others.

You'll be working part time, 16 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday, 9am - 1pm), at Cygnet Fountains helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Please note, this is a fixed term contract to cover maternity for up to 12 months.

Cygnet Fountains is a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men who have severe and enduring mental illness and who may have been detained under the Mental Health Act. The individuals we support come to us following multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes or stepping down from secure settings.
