Job summary

Holmes Care Group LTD is seeking a Domestic Assistant to help maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the premises. You will clean resident rooms, communal areas, and assist with laundry and dining room preparation while developing a positive relationship with residents and staff.

No previous experience required; a caring and compassionate nature and willingness to learn are valued. Opportunities for training and development are provided within Holmes Care Group.

Qualifications

• Be able to work as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication and compassionate approach when engaging with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises.
• Clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas, toilets, and bathrooms.
• Dispose of refuse and ensure waste bins are well maintained.
• Assist with laundry tasks.
• Assist with dining room preparation for mealtimes.

What does the day of a Domestic Assistant look like?

• To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises
• To clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas as well as toilets and bathrooms
• Disposal of refuse/waste ensuring waste bins are maintained.
• Assist with laundry tasks.
• Assisting with dining room preparation for mealtimes
• Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and visitors by becoming an important member of the team
