Holmes Care Group LTD in Scotland is seeking a Domestic Assistant for Fernlea House on a 22.5 hour contract to help keep resident areas clean, safe and welcoming.

You will perform cleaning, laundry support, dining room prep, and waste disposal, while building friendly relationships with residents and colleagues. Nurturing and compassionate attitude preferred; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises.
• Clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas, toilets and bathrooms.
• Dispose of refuse and ensure waste bins are maintained.
• Assist with laundry tasks.
• Assist with dining room preparation for meals.

What does the day of a Domestic Assistant look like?

Our Domestic staff will ensure our homes are kept clean, presentable, and safe for residents and visitors:

• To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises
• To clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas as well as toilets and bathrooms
• Disposal of refuse/waste ensuring waste bins are maintained.
• Assist with laundry tasks.
• Assisting with dining room preparation for mealtimes
• Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and visitors by becoming an important member of the team
