Job summary

Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited is seeking a Head Housekeeper for Hillcroft House in Stowmarket. The role is 37.5 hours per week, at £13.86 per hour, with alternate weekends.

You will lead the housekeeping team, ensure rooms and communal areas are clean, and support residents with a caring, respectful environment. Hillcroft House is a care home specialising in residential and dementia care. Described as a ‘magical’ place by the residents, the home has a lovely atmosphere. It is a busy and lively home where everyone is treated as one big family – whether you’re a staff member, a relative or a resident.

What would a typical day look like?

• Ensuring our residents rooms and communal areas remain clean and tidy
• Supervising the domestic team and ensure they are working to a high standard
• Preparing vacant rooms for viewings and new admissions
• Stock control and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
