An established health organization is seeking enthusiastic Domestic Assistants to join their Domestic Services team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness standards in a busy hospital environment, providing essential support to ensure patient comfort and hygiene. We currently have opportunities in our Domestic Services Department at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital and annex buildings for enthusiastic, motivated individuals. The Domestic Services team have responsibility for ensuring that standards of environmental cleanliness are maintained and we are seeking additional Domestic Assistants to carry out these duties within our hospital. Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry will be beneficial but it is not essential as the successful candidates will receive on the job training and supervision. Uniform/protective clothing will also be provided.
We are offering permanent contracts of employment and have a number of the following posts available:
1 x Part time post (20 hours a week) - 4pm to 8pm - working 5 days per week on a rota to include weekends.
Rates of pay: circa £12.26 per hour, with enhanced rates for work undertaken on Saturday (£17.28 per hour) and Sunday (£22.43 per hour).
*Increase due from 1.4.25.
