Job summary

North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Domestic Assistant to work at Warrington Hospital on Saturdays and Sundays from 7.30 to 13.30. You will maintain high cleanliness standards in line with Trust protocols and liaise with Ward/Departmental Housekeepers to ensure a close working relationship.

You will carry out cleaning tasks, operate machinery, and handle cleaning materials safely. You will also engage in health and safety training and ensure equipment and stock are stored

• Carry out cleaning tasks according to Trust cleaning protocols.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffing machines and vacuums.
• Ensure correct use, security and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.

Job description

We are seeking a Domestic Assistant to work at Warrington Hospital Saturday and Sunday 7.30-13.30, You will maintain high standards of cleanliness in-line with Trust cleaning protocols. You will communicate with colleagues in connection with your own job role and ensure a close working relationship with Ward/Departmental Housekeepers. Following health and Safety and complete all training required for role., You will carry out cleaning tasks, operating machinery, e.g., buffing machine, vacuum cleaner, moving of buckets of water and cleaning equipment to meet the needs of the area. You will be responsible for the correct use, security and storage of own equipment and cleaning materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained and used appropriately.
