NHS Property Services is hiring a Domestic Assistant for Newcastle Upon Tyne - Forest Hall Health Centre. The role focuses on keeping the healthcare environment clean, safe and welcoming for patients, visitors and staff.

You will work 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6.00am – 8.00am, and will undergo a standard DBS check. The position offers a stable part-time schedule and opportunities to contribute to infection control and patient experience.

About the role

• Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne - Forest Hall Health Centre
• Salary: £12.92 per hour (£25,272 per annum pro rata)
• Hours: 10 hours per week
• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6.00am – 8.00am
• Standard DBS Check Required

What you'll be doing

As a Domestic Assistant, you'll play an important role in ensuring our healthcare environment remains clean, safe and comfortable for patients, visitors and colleagues.

Working in line with NHS Property Services policies, procedures and cleaning schedules, you'll:

• Carry out cleaning duties to a consistently high standard
• Support infection prevention and control measures
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
• Complete routine cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the site
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service
